Ashley Ngoc-Trúc Nguyen
When someone hears the words “You have cancer,” life changes forever — not just for the patient, but for their entire family. The air grows heavier, the days grow longer, and every small act of kindness begins to matter more than ever.
For me, this journey is deeply personal. My grandmother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer at a young age. The diagnosis sent a ripple effect through our family, reshaping our hopes, testing our strength, and demanding a grace no one prepared us for. Each treatment visit became a daunting reminder that our quiet moments together were to become short-lived. It taught me that justice in healing is not only found in medicine — it’s found in access, in compassion, and in the dignity of being cared for, no matter where you come from.
That belief became the heart of HanTrúc, a multi-cultural community that embodies an enduring spirit of resilience and serenity as we grow as one.
Every shirt, every design, every ride we help fund is a promise — a promise that no one should fight alone, and that even in the hardest of times, hope can travel miles.

For me, this mission began long before HanTrúc had a name. I grew up watching what it means when someone you love faces cancer — not just the physical fight, but the quiet daily challenges that most people never see. Seeing our grandmother’s strength through pancreatic cancer taught me that hope doesn’t stand still — it moves. It travels in the hands that drive, the hearts that give, and the strangers who care.
That experience shaped everything I believe about fairness and compassion. It showed me that access to care is not a privilege — it’s a right. Every patient deserves the chance to get to treatment safely, to be seen, to heal with dignity.
When Trúc and I created HanTrúc, it wasn’t about fashion — it was about movement. Every design we create carries a message, and every sale fuels something real: a ride that brings hope closer to someone who needs it most.
