GENERAL

1. What is HanTrúc?

HanTrúc is a youth-founded for-profit apparel company with purpose of funding transportation assistance for patients in need of essential medical care. Our apparel and miscellaneous items highlight a minimalist, wellness-inspired apparel brand blending bamboo symbolism, cultural heritage, and modern design through real life experiences. Every purchase helps fund transportation assistance for patients in need of essential medical care. For more information, please refer to our dedicated About Us and Our Philosophy links.

2. How do you pronounce “HanTrúc”? 

 “Hahn-TROOK.” The name represents serenity and resilience. 

3. Where are you based? 

 We are based in California, operating with secure fulfillment partners.

4. Do you have a physical store?

HanTrúc is currently an online-only social-impact brand.

 

OUR MISSION & IMPACT

1. How does my purchase help fund rides for patients? 

A significant portion of net proceeds from every order goes toward transportation support programs that help patients get to lifesaving treatments. We publish transparent updates on rides funded each month.

2. What is the HanTrúc Impact Model? 

We follow a 75/25 values-first model, where up to 75% of net profit is contributed to ride-assistance donations to American Society Road to Recovery Program, and 25% supports operations, design, and sustainability.

3. How many rides does one purchase fund?

On average, one ride costs between $35-$50, and we calculate estimated rides funded for each product category.

4. Is my purchase tax-deductible?

Unfortunately, purchases of merchandise or memberships through HanTrúc LLC are not tax-deductible at this time. However, the impact component of your purchase directly supports our philanthropic mission.

5. Are you partnered with a nonprofit?

We are currently not partnered with a charity organization, but we sponsor free transportation through monthly donations to the  American Society Cancer Society Road to Recovery Program.


ORDERS

1. How do I place an order? 

Simply add items to your cart and checkout using secure payment options including credit/debit card, Shop Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.

2. Can I change or cancel an order?

 Unfortunately, once orders are placed, processing of orders go into production in line with our print on demand business partners. Please check your order accuracy and shipment address before confirming your order.

3. Do you offer custom embroidery or personalization?

HanTrúc focuses on curated apparel designs and limited collections that are personalized to our mission. Custom options may be offered in future drops.

 

SHIPPING

1. Where do you ship? 

We currently only ship within the U.S.

2. How long does shipping take? 

Production: 2–7 business days, Shipping: 3–7 business days (U.S.)  Tracking information is provided once the order ships.

3. How much is shipping? 

Rates are calculated at checkout. Members may receive free or reduced-rate shipping depending on tier.

4. Do you ship from multiple locations? 

Yes — depending on the product, your order may ship from our California facility or partner fulfillment centers.

 

MEMBERSHIPS (Silver, Gold, Platinum). Please note: Currently memberships are not being sold. We will announce release of these products in our monthly newsletters.

1. What are the membership tiers?                                                                              

Silver – Entry level support + exclusive merch access

Gold – Enhanced perks + annual gift

Platinum – Highest tier with personalized apparel and impact updates

2. Is any portion of my membership fee tax-deductible?

Unfortunately, no. While memberships are non-taxable donations, HanTrúc is a purposed for-profit entity, and the membership may include goods and perks, and therefore cannot be processed as tax-deductible donations. 

3. How are memberships taxed? 

Only the merchandise portion (e.g., annual gift value) is taxed. The support portion is classified as non-taxable. This is automatically calculated at checkout.

4. Do I get early access to drops?  

Yes — Gold & Platinum members receive early access to new designs and limited-edition pieces.

5. Can I cancel my membership?  

Yes. Email us anytime for cancellation. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund the current year.


RETURNS & EXCHANGES

1. What is your return policy? 

We accept returns for defective or incorrect items. Please email us within 7 business days of receipt for further instructions. Because each product is made only on demand, we cannot accept returns for size, color, or change-of-mind reasons.

2. Do you offer exchanges?

If the product is defective, damaged, or misprinted, we will replace it at no cost. Please email us within 7 business days of receipt for further instructions. Otherwise, exchanges are currently not offered.

 

SIZING & PRODUCT DETAILS

1. How do I find my size? 

Each product page includes a detailed size guide. We recommend reviewing measurements before checkout.

2. Are your items embroidery or print? 

Many designs use high-precision embroidery; others use premium DTG printing. Each item specifies the method.

3. Do colors appear differently in person? 

Variations may occur due to screen settings, but we strive for accurate photography.

 

PAYMENT

1. What payment methods do you accept? 

Credit/debit cards, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal 

2. Is my payment information secure? 

Yes. All payments are encrypted through Shopify’s secure PCI-compliant checkout.

 

WHOLESALE & PARTNERSHIPS

1. Do you offer wholesale orders or bulk pricing?  

At this time, HanTrúc focuses on limited-edition apparel. Wholesale inquiries may be submitted for future collaborations.

2. Can we collaborate with HanTrúc for events or charity drives? 

Yes! Please contact us for community partnership opportunities. We’d love to hear from you!

 

TRADEMARK, BRAND & DESIGN QUESTIONS

1. Is the HanTrúc logo trademarked? 

We are in the process of filing trademark protection for our bamboo and cherry blossom accented word-mark and related design elements.

2. Can I use HanTrúc images or graphics? 

All designs are proprietary. Please contact us for licensed usage.

3. Do you use AI in your design process? 

Some early concepts may involve AI-assisted ideation, but all final designs are manually refined, original, and reviewed for USPTO compliance.

 

PRIVACY & SECURITY

1. How is my data used? 

Only to process orders, deliver products, and improve your experience. We do not sell personal information.

2. Do you store credit card information?

No. Payment information is handled securely by Shopify and never stored by HanTrúc.
