Shaped by personal experience and a deep appreciation for enduring design, the brand reflects a belief that what we carry should not only serve us beautifully, but also create meaningful impact beyond ourselves.
That belief has been part of HanTrúc from the beginning.
Our designs are shaped by heritage, resilience, movement, and intention. But Carry Purpose was never meant to exist only in what we create. It was meant to extend beyond the pieces themselves and become something tangible.
Today, we are honored to share an important step in that journey.
HanTrúc is providing funding for a three-month patient transportation pilot led by the Paul Hom Asian Clinic, a student-run clinic affiliated with the UC Davis School of Medicine.
When Access Begins With Getting There
Medical care is often discussed in terms of physicians, treatments, and technology. Yet for some patients, one of the most immediate challenges comes before they ever reach the clinic door.
Simply getting to an appointment can be a barrier.
Transportation can affect whether care remains within reach, whether follow-up appointments are kept, and whether someone navigating an already difficult time has one less uncertainty to carry.
The transportation pilot is intended to help address that practical need by supporting patients with transportation to and from care.
For HanTrúc, this is where purpose becomes action.
Resilience Beyond the Design
Bamboo has long been at the heart of HanTrúc.
Grounded yet adaptable, delicate in appearance yet remarkably resilient, it represents the quiet strength required to continue forward through change and uncertainty.
That symbolism appears throughout our collections, including Resilience, the second chapter of our Four Chapters story.
But resilience is more than something we want to represent through design.
It can also mean helping make the next step possible.
Supporting the Paul Hom Asian Clinic’s transportation pilot allows HanTrúc to contribute in a focused and practical way while remaining connected to the values that shaped the brand from the beginning: heritage, dignity, service, and care.
